About
I’m a local student from Lisse and I love showing people the hidden beauty of our tulip region!
Hi, I’m Marius, 19 years old, and in 2025 I founded Tulip Jeep Experience.
I’m a local student, born, raised and still living in Lisse, right in the heart of the Dutch tulip region.
Growing up between the flower fields, changing seasons and international visitors has always been part of my daily life. What might feel extraordinary to others has always been my home; and that’s exactly what I enjoy sharing.
In my youth, my dad introduced me to his interest in World War II, and growing up around his stories, that curiosity naturally became my own. Combined with my love for the Bollenstreek, this eventually led to Tulip Jeep Experience.
Tulip Jeep Experience was created out of a genuine love for the region and the people who visit it, together with my interest in entrepreneurship. I wanted to build something personal, small-scale and meaningful; not a standard tour, but a private experience where you can truly enjoy the landscape, stories and atmosphere at your own pace.
Every tour is guided by me personally in a historic WW2 jeep or in a former Dutch military Land Rover (for 3+ pax.), adding character and a sense of history to the journey. It’s relaxed, informal and fully private, designed for people who prefer quality and authenticity over crowds and schedules.
What I enjoy most is meeting people from all over the world and making sure they leave with a smile, great memories, beautiful photos, and a genuine connection to this region.
Tulip Jeep Experience is a recreational and educational experience, focused on enjoyment and cultural appreciation. A contribution helps cover fuel and vehicle upkeep, allowing the experience to remain sustainable and high-quality. This is not a transport or taxi service.
